Carol Lang - Producer, Director,
Screenwriter

Residing in Eureka, CA, Carol Lang is a theatre director, producer, actor, voice actor, writer, performer and teacher of improvisation theatre.  Carol has produced, directed, written and edited numerous short films. Carol starred in the talk show The Carol Escobar Show which aired for several years on Humboldt County's public access TV channel, Access Humboldt.  Carol produced her first full length feature film Confession in 2016.  Autumn Run marks her film directorial debut.

Dawn Bressler - Executive Producer,
Screenwriter

Retired from public service after 30 years, Dawn is testing film production as her next career path.  This is Dawn’s second production after working on Confession in 2016 as Script Supervisor.

Alan Olmstead -
Associate Producer / Editor / Music Supervisor / Sound Design

A long time A/V and band / music nerd (having passed his Bell & Howell certification in Jr High with 100% correct answers!), Alan Olmstead has owned and operated his own ad agency and production studio since 1979, creating not only advertising-related radio, television, and graphic design output, but also corporate video, a non-profit documentary, and many political campaigns.

A long time bucket list item, Alan always wanted to try his hand at editing a feature film, and with Autumn Run, has checked that off the list!

Howard Lang - Associate Producer,
Dog Handler, Technical Advisor

A native of Southern California and residing in Eureka, Howard has always had dogs in his life.  He has completed several training programs with dogs, including Kalani (who appears as Spike in this film).  As a Technical Advisor, it's Howard's job to keep the Director up to date on technical issues.  Prior technical experience includes audio, video, and music production, sound design, and radio and electronics.

Laura Rhinehart - Associate Producer,
Art Design Director, Properties Mistress

Laura received her BA in Studio Art and MFA in Scenography from Humboldt State University where she developed set, property, and costume design expertise.  Her accolades include receiving a “Meritorious Achievement Award” in properties design from the Kennedy Center for Brigadoon.  Laura is a member of USITT (United States Institute of Theatre Technology) and continues her craft designing sets, properties, and costumes for local community theater and film productions. Autumn Run is the second locally produced film showcasing her design skills.

Matt St. Charles - Director of Photography,
Director of Lighting

Matt St. Charles started making movies at a young age with his parents' handicam. He loves sci-fi films of the 80's, and getting his hands on modern cinema technology. Autumn Run is his fifth feature film as cinematographer.

Karen Echegaray -
Makeup Artist/Designer

Karen Echegaray is a self-taught makeup artist who focuses on using her face as a canvas for dynamic and creative looks. She has worked as a Makeup/Hair Designer, Consultant and Artist at community theaters for;  Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Wizard of Oz, Pippin, Matilda and Cabaret. Autumn Run is her first foray into film makeup. When not working with other entities she channels her creative energy into the 'Mural Makeup Series: Face Art inspired by Street Art', a project with over 20 Photo sets of makeup art inspired by, and photographed in front of, local murals.

David Thompson is a television producer and director currently working for pubic television.

Denise Ryles - Costume Designer

Denise is a stage actor who has graced the NorthCoast stages in such productions as The Tenth Muse, The Odd Couple (female version), Native Gardens and Young Frankenstein just to name a few.  A Rutabaga Queen to the World-Famous Kinetic Sculpture Race, Denise is the owner and operator of The Costume Box and has been a costume designer in Humboldt County for both stage and screen for many years.

Kira Gallaway -
Production Assistant

Kira Gallaway is currently the Technical Director at Arcata High School, is a resident stage manager/technician at the North Coast Repertory Theatre in Eureka and holds positions at both Center Arts and the Arkley Center for the Performing Arts as a stage technician.

Bruce Paz - Sound Recordist

Bruce is a Sound Engineer and owner of Northjetty Recording Studio.  He has applied his skills in various areas including weddings and events and has been working in film for many years.  Autumn Run is his fifth film.

Jake Holper - Script Supervisor

Jake has been involved in many North Coast theatrical productions as technical crew and backstage manager.  An expert drone operator and rock skipper, Autumn Run marks Jake's first full length feature film.

Kevyn Harris - Boom Operator

This is the second full length feature film Kevyn has worked on.  Kevyn has extensive experience operating audio equipment for theatrical stage productions and has worked in front and behind the cameras on several Humboldt County video projects including Bobby G Space Monkey and The Carol Escobar Show.

Jack Ridlon - Motorcycle Instruction

Jack is a native of McKinleyville, California and lives in the same house he was born in. He got his first motorcycle as a young adult and has been very committed to his bikes since then. His newest craze is the pokey old Trail 90s, and he is about to lose count of how many he has. He has taught many a new rider, but this is his first experience teaching a rider for a movie. His generosity with his knowledge and the importance of safety have been a huge help in this production.

Corwin Shrewsbury - Grip

Corwin is a true Renaissance man... a jack of all trades. Residing in McKinleyville, CA Corwin has spent much of his young life amassing an amazing number of skills both behind the camera and off the grid.   Corwin has been part of a video crew many times before with some noteworthy projects being Bobby Keene Corporate World and The Carol Escobar Show.
