Queena DeLany - Philomena

Queena's passion for acting began as a child with her first being cast in a school play. From then on her performances in drama and comedy have been as a variety of characters in productions for radio, theatre, commercials, and film. On stage she has shown her strengths in the one woman show Shirley Valentine and earned an Irene Ryan Nomination for her performance as Claire in Proof.  She dazzled as Mina Harker in a traditional 40’s style radio production of Dracula. Queena stretched her wings in her first feature film Confession as Detective Reina Herrera and performs from the heart as Philomena in Autumn Run. Further credits can be found at QueenaDeLany.com.

Joseph LeMieux - White Hawk

Joseph LeMieux, in his debut role as White Hawk, although surprised  to be approached while at dinner in a local restaurant to consider auditioning, “thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”  When he’s not challenging himself with new artistic endeavors, Joseph and his lovely wife Adrienne live and work a peaceful life in the beautiful Hoopa Valley.

Ranae Zeller - Little Ben

After having just completed 4th grade, Ranae is spending most of her time with her 4 geese (Luigi, Sody, Sonny and Cher, 4 ducks (Pickles. Noisy, Midnight and Wingman) and 6 chickens (Sneaky, Disappearing Chicken, Crystal, Stripy). She spends her summer swimming in the Mattole River, climbing trees and reading books to her birds in the evenings.  Covid took quite the toll on having friends over to play and she is now transitioning back from her feathered friends to her old dear friends (who thankfully don't poop in the house). Ranae says she likes acting because she doesn't have to do chores and the crew brings her gloves and a jacket when she is cold...and snacks.

Valerie Sanford - Mother

Retired social worker, mother to Ranae (character name Young Ben) and Rhapsody, Conqueror and Empress.  At Home Naval Officer (to fine tune her "at home" titles),: newly crowned Wilderness
Wench, and Professional Laundry Hanger on the big screen.

Kalani is 64% German Shepherd, 24% Berger Blanc Suisse (White Swiss Shepherd), and 12% other herding and guarding breeds.  He already had the name Kalani, which is Hawaiian for "Heavenly Chieftain".  His disposition is warm, loving, and friendly.  He is smart as a whip, and, although sometimes stubborn, follows directions if clearly given.  Kalani likes to play more than anything else.  A HumDog graduate, Kalani has earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen award.  This is Kalani's first film appearance.
